2 years of direct experience with working with Cisco Routers and Switches, an understanding of network circuits and direct hands-on experience connecting to and adding configuration files to Cisco network equipment. The resource must have the ability to clearly communicate. must have val id driver's license and car Ability to comprehend industry standard network connectivity, navigation, and software installation Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs without any restrictions Excellent customer service skills to interact with site Management and ICC as well as Leadersh ip and patience Must be very flexible hours and have no restrictions when it comes to t ime on site. Most of the time during early hours Exp: Start time 6.am to 6pm. Compensation- depend upon Experience Estimated time onsite per person per site: 2-6 Hours but anyone working must stay until their site has been completed Technician Supplied Material I> Basic writing materials Technician Tools Required ► Digital camera and phone or Smartphone charged r RJ11 & RJ 45 jacks/ fittings :> Assorted length Cat Se Plenum patch cables J> 300ft Cat5e Plenum for Demarc extension/ AP Installs I> Shipping Tape J> (2) Extra Power Strip ► Basic wiring tools -Punch down tool -Toner -Butt set ► Laptop PC - charged and power cable -w/Ethernet NIC -Win 7, Vista or XP, 8, 10 -PuTTY downloaded and installed (www.putty.org) ► Console cable w/serial to USB adapter ► Ladder - 8'

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable IT Technician to join our team. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our computer systems, networks, and equipment are operating at peak performance. You will also handle all IT support requests and assist colleagues with their IT needs. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our company and allowing us to reach our business goals. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. 

Responsibilities 
  • Maintain computer hardware in working order
  • Set up employee workstations (computers, printers, routers, etc)
  • Install and configure software
  • Train colleagues in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipment
  • Assess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systems
  • Maintain optimized local network
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience as an IT Technician or an IT Certification is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of data privacy and security 
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
